You may attend all classes online, or join us in the studio on Saturdays.

The Intermediate Teacher Training course provides you with the opportunity to upgrade your teaching skills, deepen your practice, and expand your service by learning how to teach an Integral Yoga Level 2 class.  Develop your connection to the Integral Yoga community as you meet and spend time with other Integral Yoga teachers, share your experiences and ideas, and find creative solutions to challenges encountered in teaching.

Through this course you will be introduced to intermediate-level asana and variations, as well as pranayama and meditation practices. Deepen your knowledge and understanding of Raja Yoga through study of the Bhagavad Gita and strengthen your grounding in the universal teachings of Yoga philosophy.

Refine your own personal practice as you learn how to safely and effectively guide your beginner Level I students to progress to the next level. Through insightful mentoring and feedback, your teaching skills will evolve beyond the basics to lead your students to a deeper and more profound experience in their practice.

This training is a required foundational course for Integral Yoga 300-Hour Certification.

While he enjoys sharing the practical wisdom of the Yogic philosophy (especially that of the great Indian scripture the Bhagavad Gita), he also loves his practice of Hatha Yoga and is one of our primary instructors for Intermediate and Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. In the past, he has served as the president of Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville® and Integral Yoga® International; he is currently the president of the New York Integral Yoga Institute.
